The islands are home to a wide variety of beings, from the gifted, to the mystical, to the downright inexplicable. It is also home to Starlight Academy, the world's premier academy for all things extraordinary.
The Academy actively seeks out the supernatural and gives these students a place to call home where they can receive the finest education, and master what makes them unique.

Starlight Academy is a self-hosted, freeform modern fantasy roleplay that has been going strong since July 10th, 2005.
Our site is mobile-friendly, with a variety of skins. We allow students, teachers, and civilians of all types. We also allow open species creation.
We hold monthly events and challenges, and have a large, active and diverse community of players from around the world.
Starlight does not have strict activity requirements or activity checks. We have no limit on the number of characters you can make, and we allow personal art, animanga faces, and real life play-bys to be used for characters!
Roleplayers of all skill levels, characters types, and plots are warmly welcomed!
