[attr="class","rostercat2"]Garth grew up in Poseidonis and trained in Atlantean magic at the Conservatory of Sorcery there. He helped defend the city from an attack by Ocean-Master. Afterward, his friend Kaldur became King Arthur's protégé. Garth and their friend Tula remained students at the Conservatory and began a romantic relationship. Garth was a steadfast warden of Atlantis and the royal family over the course of several tragedies - including an attack by Black Manta and the abduction of Queen Mera. He joined the Team under the alias "Tempest" for several years, but after the death of Tula, took a hiatus from it and dedicated his time toward being an ambassador between Atlantis and the rest of the world.
