Since the arrival of Wonder Woman in the 1940s and becoming the first notable superhero to debut in America, the number of heroes has been increasing. The world has changed as the number of metahumans has been steadily on the rise since the advent of some of the most famous heroes becoming household names. The Justice League and the Titans have risen to accept the call put out to protect those that cannot protect themselves.
The Batman is still Gotham's Protector, while Superman does what he can to keep Metropolis safe from those seeking to corrupt and harm the city's residents. The Society has begun gathering together to scheme and plot the end of the heroes. A.R.G.U.S. have closed in on superheroes in an effort to police their activities, foreshadowing difficulties for us all ahead...
