This hadn't been how he'd imagined taking up the mantle of Kid Flash. He'd admittedly thought about it once or twice. He'd figured when his grandpa eventually decided to retire, he'd pass the mantle of Flash down to Wally, who might ask if he wanted to be the next Kid Flash.
He hadn't expected it to be because Wally was gone...
And how could he not blame himself? He wasn't an idiot. He'd always known the risks of time traveling, of changing the past. Yes this seemed better than the future he'd left, but what if coming back to the past had been the catalyst that caused Wally to die? What if it was all his fault?
He hadn't shared those thoughts with anyone. The others were all grieving. Sharing his guilt wouldn't help any of them. Besides there was work to be down.
Mount Justice was a wreck - a pile of rubble where a mountain had once stood. Thankfully none of the damage had seemed to affect the citizens of Happy Harbor, aside from scaring them.
He wasn't entirely sure what the League or the Team had in mind for the rubble, but there was still cleanup to be done. And if they didn't want cleanup, there were things trapped underneath the rubble - memories... Souvenirs. He thought Artemis might want those.
The issue was, he could phase down there but not like the martians. It would be difficult to find and grab anything from underneath the rubble. And he most definitely wasn't strong to lift a lot of the rubble out of the way.
So he stood there, decked in his Kid Flash costume, trying to figure out the best way to do this.

Things hadn't been too easy lately for most of the members of the League- that Kara knew but she also worried about the next generation. To be honest, it would have probably when wiser to send her to be with Young Justice but it had been figured that she probably wasn’t the best fit considering her powers weren’t exactly where they should be. It didn’t help that she had not worked with a team- or have been a ‘superhero’ before this. It was a lot of speculation on why she joined the Justice League after she trained with the Amazons but at that moment, she wanted to help. Normally, she got herself in trouble but she had been off-world for a bit to help Superman but it was her next goal to check on the small remaining group of Young Justice.
A lot of the members of the League were missing- including someone close to the young boy who stood near the remnants of Mount Justice. It had to be a lot but Kara wasn’t known for her smoothness with others- she normally would joke around or let out a witty comment but as she hovered near the base, the feeling of empathy filled her. Supergirl knew a lot of the members of Young Justice but most of them by just name and picture only considering she was pretty new to the League.
The red and gold of her cape swayed by her legs as Kara was caught up in her thoughts before making a decision. She would help any way she could. There was something she could help with, right? Uncrossing her arms from under her chest, the female moved forward towards the figure before extending her legs to gently land a few feet away from him. Glancing slightly out of the corner of her eye at him, she soon let out a light sigh as the ice blue eyes scanned over the rubble- seeing some objects that she really couldn’t place.
“Got a plan?” Maybe, if she could take his mind off everything it’d help. In most cases, she would go for trips over the ocean to clean her mind but at this moment, she wanted to help. Loss wasn’t something foreign to her but at that moment, she knew that this kid needed a distraction or even someone to talk to- err, well she would try her best to listen for sure. Flash was missing along with several others- that she knew. It must have been hitting him hard. The longer she thought about it, the more anxious it made her and she turned to face him, crossing her arms under her chest as if to hold her fears inside of her chest. Hey, maybe it'd help her be distracted as well.
